RN Educator Program (NEP) Education Course – Deadline to Register is July 29, 2024

NYSHFA | NYSCAL will be offering the RN Nurse Educator (NEP) Course starting with two dates in August: August 21 and August 22, 2024; and two dates in September: September 25 and September 26, 2023. Attendance is required for all four sessions. The NEP program will provide the participants the opportunity to learn new skills, fine-tune existing knowledge, explore adult learning strategies, and operationalize the skills and competencies that are needed to be an effective Nurse Educator in today’s LTC setting. Space is limited! Registration deadline is July 29, 2024.

Registrants MUST be a New York State Registered RN or LPN. Participants will be required to develop a curriculum for a training session and present their training program to their Nurse Educator classmates.

This program has been approved by the NYSDOH to meet the “Train-the-Trainer” requirements for the Nurse Aide Training Program.
