AHCA/NCAL: CDC Releases Updates to COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control Guidance
The CDC released updates to three guidance documents now available on its website. AHCA has provided a high-level summary of the changes and linked to each guidance for additional information. Many of these changes reflect the tireless work that AHCA members have devoted to advocating for CDC to update. Your voices have been heard and AHCA thanks you.
The agency notes that these updates have been made to reflect the high levels of vaccine- and infection-induced immunity and the availability of effective treatments and prevention tools.

SNF 5-Star Quality Measure Rating Threshold Changing This October: In March 2019, CMS released memorandum QSO-19-08-NH. The memo outlines a plan to update the five quality measure (QM) rating thresholds on the Nursing Home Compare website every six months. READ MORE.
