Now Live: iQIES-Based Electronic Plan of Correction for Nursing Homes

New York has transitioned the Medicare-certified nursing home electronic Plan of Correction process to the iQIES platform. Effective immediately, inspection reports and corrective action for Medicare-certified nursing homes must be communicated via iQIES.

To ensure facilities can successfully communicate their required plans of correction, affected nursing homes must follow specific steps to ensure proper iQIES roles are assigned. The Department has prepared course OALTC-576 on the Learning Management System at https://www.nylearnsph.com/Public/Default.aspx as a step-by-step guide for facilities to follow through the role assignment process.
