From the President and Executive Director: Thank you to Members!

When the Governor introduced his long-term care Executive Budget proposals, NYSCAL actively worked to oppose these initiatives.  A critical part of NYSCAL’s advocacy efforts was our grass roots campaign for members to directly contact and sign onto letters to legislators to oppose the significant funding cuts and fine increases directed at adult care providers. We would like to thank our members for making your voices heard!  These efforts played an important role in ensuring that the Governor’s proposed funding cuts and increased fines were dropped from the enacted FY 2021-22 State Budget.
