HERDS Changes Effective April 2, 2025

Thank you for your ongoing efforts to collect information vital to preventing the spread of COVID-19. As per Dear Administrator Letter # DAL DACF 25-17/NH 25-08, the New York State Department of Health (“the Department”) is reducing the reporting frequency to once weekly. This weekly reporting will go into effect April 1st, with the monthly surveys, and the next reporting date will be April 8th and subsequent Tuesdays. The Department will administer a 30-minute webinar on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. to review the change in reporting frequency and outline changes to the survey that streamlines data collection.
