Q: If the president of the Resident Council instructs me, as the Administrator, not to share the Resident Council meeting minutes with the Ombudsman representative who requests them, what are my legal responsibilities?
A: If the Resident Council does not want to provide information to the Ombudsman, they are not required to do so. However, the council must communicate its decision directly to the Ombudsman; the Ombudsman cannot rely solely on the Administrator’s word.
