DOH: Updated Health Care Worker Bonus Program Slides and FAQs
The Department of Health has updated the Health Care Worker Bonus (“HWB”) Program slides and FAQs. Among other things, the FAQs now allow for the submission of qualified employees of Vesting Period 1 in Vesting Period 2, and allow for certain contract staff to be eligible for the HWB. Specifically, the update allows providers that are not able to complete their submission of qualified employees in the HWB Portal for Vesting Period 1 by September 2nd to submit claims for Vesting Period 1 during Vesting Period 2. Additionally, the updated FAQs indicate that contract staff in eligible titles may receive the HWB assuming all other HWB Program requirements are met.
