HCS Multi-Factor Authentication Enhancement Rollout

Please be advised that starting this Friday, November 21, Health Commerce System users will be able to clear out their remembered devices used for MFA authentication from their account. A new button called “Clear All Remembered Devices” will appear in the MFA Management application and will allow users to remove all devices that are currently “remembered” for HCS MFA. This enhancement is particularly important if users have logged into HCS from a public device.

No action is required in advance of this rollout.  The feature will appear automatically once the update is live. However, if you encounter issues, please contact the Commerce Accounts Management Unit (CAMU) at camu@health.ny.gov.
