AHCA/NCAL: Important Provider Relief Fund Reporting Reminder

The September 30th Provider Relief Fund (PRF) deadline for the first reporting period is quickly approaching. The PRF Reporting Portal opened on July 1, 2021, for providers who need to report the use of PRF payments in Reporting Period 1. The Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) notes in a recent reporting reminder and new resources announcement:

“When they [providers] received these funds, providers agreed to give an accounting of how the money was used by submitting a report via the PRF Reporting Portal. HRSA recognizes providers needed those PRF payments they received. However, if they fail to complete this important reporting step, HRSA must recoup the funds from non-compliant providers. We want providers to report, and we need your help to ensure that everyone is compliant.”

HRSA will host two short briefings with stakeholders on Thursday, August 26 to share new resources. Register in advance for the 11 AM ET or 3 PM ET briefing.

All PRF web content may now be found on HRSA.gov. Three new documents are now available to assist with reporting, including Lost Revenues GuideAllowable Personnel Expenses, and  Reporting Resource Guide. The website also includes a statement about remaining funds, as well as an e-mail subscription sign-up specifically for PRF updates.

Please contact COVID19@ahca.org with specific PRF questions. Also be sure to visit AHCA/NCAL’s PRF website for additional information.
