RN Nurse Educator Program (NEP) Education Course – Deadline to register is December 28th

NYSHFA-NYSCAL will be offering the RN Nurse Educator (NEP) Course starting two dates in January: January 12 and 13, 2022 and two dates in February: February 9 and 10, 2022. Attendance is required for all four sessions. The NEP program will provide the participants the opportunity to learn new skills, fine-tune existing knowledge, explore adult learning strategies, and operationalize the skills and competencies that are needed to be an effective Nurse Educator in today’s LTC setting. Space is limited! Registration deadline is December 28, 2021.

Registrants MUST be a New York State Registered Nurse. Participants will be required to develop a curriculum for a training session and present their training program to their Nurse Educator classmates.

This program has been approved by the NYSDOH to meet the “Train the Trainer” requirements for the Nurse Aide Training Program.
