Fireside Chat: How Nursing Homes Can Support and Leverage their Resident Council

Please join the Office of Aging and Long-Term Care, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, the Health Association of New York State, LeadingAge New York, and the New York State Health Facilities Association, in an interactive panelist discussion about resident councils and their purpose and benefits. Through participation, attendees will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Understand the requirements for the Resident Council, and expectations thereof.
  • Know various contacts who might lend support either to an individual resident or circumstance, resulting in improved overall quality of life.
  • Leverage the Resident Council to assist in improving overall patient care and quality through transparent two-way communication.

The chat will take place via webinar scheduled for 01/23/2025 at 2:00pm. Please pre-register at: https://my.hanys.org/Events/Calendar-Of-Events/Meeting-Home-Page?meetingid={b1e9274f-fdb7-ef11-b8e9-6045bd016fda}&_cldee=62itwO5dVfolFogi3yLQiWZM8nvwb4XTo-BBzfJYJlAjrIYhvmC3hrxWT446d_mL&recipientid=contact-4bb8e97c770fee118f6d00224805c739-548636ebc1504de39580de4cc36d3199&utm_source=ClickDimensions&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=HANYS%20Events&esid=5201a5f1-b2bb-ef11-b8e9-6045bd016fda
