DAL DNH 25-26: COVID-19 Vaccine Administration Status and Respiratory Infection Reminder

The New York State Department of Health (“Department”) continues to recognize viral respiratory infections including COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus as ongoing threats to the health of long-term care facility residents and staff. This update details the COVID-19 vaccination efforts of our nursing homes and reinforces the Department’s expectations for offering and administering recommended vaccines to residents and staff for all three viral respiratory illnesses.
