Early on, federal and state policymakers met the challenges of the pandemic by expanding access to telehealth reimbursement and eliminating regulatory hurdles. Moving forward, the future of these changes is unclear, as lawmakers appear poised to roll back some of the waivers and flexibilities tied to the pandemic emergency.
