DOH Response to Rescinding Executive Order 202 through 202.11

NYSHFA|NYSCAL has reached out to the Department of Health indicating the most recent Executive Order rescinding EO 202 through 202.11 has caused confusion among providers. There are so many different issues to address and facilities are scrambling to understand what they should continue and which DOH directions they can discontinue. The Department of Health has responded to NYSHFA|NYSCAL stating “At this time, there have been no updates. When an update is made, the information will be widely broadcast”.

Therefore, we are recommending that facilities continue to follow DOH Guidance and not change any current procedures they are performing until the Department of Health issues new guidance that conforms with the most recent Executive Order. We will continue to follow up with the Department.
