CMS Release Survey Resource Documents & Critical Pathways

The new survey resources are now available on the CMS Nursing Home Website https://www.cms.gov/medicare/provider-enrollment-and-certification/guidanceforlawsandregulations/nursing-homes ,

Additionally, the critical element (CE) pathways have been updated. Two new CEs are the Binding Arbitration Agreement and Behavioral Emotional Status. Facilities are encouraged to review these CEs in preparation for survey.
