AHCA/NCAL Launch New Leadership Program

The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) has launched today a new leadership education program to further improve quality care and outcomes in long term care.

This free, four-part virtual program equips leaders with trust-building skills and practices to continue to increase vaccine uptake, improve infection prevention and control and staff retention.

Lessons available now include:

Lesson 1: Introduction to The Three Drivers of Trust for COVID-19 Vaccine Uptake

Lesson 2: The First Driver of Trust: Empathy

Lesson 3: The Second Driver of Trust: Logic

Lesson 4: The Third Driver of Trust: Authenticity

This training program is ideal for clinical and non-clinical leaders and managers across the organization, including:

  • Administrators
  • Directors of Nursing
  • Medical directors
  • Infection preventionists
  • Senior leaders
  • Department heads
  • Quality improvement leaders
  • Unit leaders

Participation in the course requires completion of four lessons lasting 2-3 hours each. While there are no CEs offered with this course, learners receive a certificate of completion once successfully completed.
