Urgent Information Needed Regarding COVID Related Immunity Lawsuits

Neil Murray, NYSHFA’s General Counsel, is seeking information regarding Covid-19 immunity related lawsuits. Specifically, he needs to know how many NYSHFA members have been sued for negligence with respect to Covid-19.  NYSHFA plans to file an Amicus Brief on behalf of all members, and must first determine the number of facilities presently affected.

Members should contact Carl Pucci at NYSHFA ASAP but no later than COB Friday, June 10, 2022 if your facility is involved in such a lawsuit.
