DOH Issues Capital Preview Rates and Attestation Documents

DOH has just issued the 2022 SNF Capital Preview Rates and supporting Attestation documents. The signed Capital Attestation form is due Friday, May 13, 2022. Although there are no changes to the capital reimbursement methodology or attestation documents, DOH has added a new Capital Preview Rate Sources template which provides line-by-line source and calculation guidance from the capital rate sheet, as well as a revised 2022 Capital Preview Attestation Request, which defines the applicable documentation required for requested changes to the Capital Preview Rate. Below are the attached forms in the 2022 Attestation package:

Note: New this year – capital rate errors due to incorrect 2020 RHCF data now require the facility to refile the corrected 2020 RHCF (with revised DCN# and applicable CPA certification) as required by regulations.
