Assisted Living Program (ALP) Hospice Workgroup
The New York State Department of Health has been tasked with developing an Assisted Living Program (ALP) Hospice workgroup to:
- Review existing hospice requirements to identify potential duplication under the assisted living program (ALP) benefit.
- Develop programmatic policies to develop a clear delineation of hospice and ALP services, as well as necessary forms and guidance to support such delineation.
- Craft a Medicaid State Plan Amendment and regulations to codify the identified practices developed by the workgroup.
