DAL Posting for April 2022 ALP 1% enhancement rates
The New York State Department of Health issued a Dear Administrator Letter containing information for Assisted Living Program (ALP) Medicaid reimbursement rates effective April 1, 2022. Below is the notification as well as the Dear Administrator Letter.
Dear Medicaid Provider,
A previous notification was sent to all ALP providers to notify of the 1% operating increase rate posting and effective cycle date of 2342, check release date 7/27/2022 for this rate change.
This notice is to advise your ALP facility that the Dear Administrator Letter regarding the April 2022 1% enhancement is posted with the initial April 1, 2022 Medicaid rates at the following location under “Current Rates” Assisted Living Program Rates (ny.gov)
As mentioned in the DAL, the 1% enhancement in the April 1, 2022 rates is currently calculated based on the January 1, 2021 rates as they are the most recent available. When the January 1, 2022 rates are released the 1% enhancement will be recalculated and reconciled with the current issued April 1, 2022 rates.
