Were you aware that September 22 is National Ice Cream Cone Day and National White Chocolate Day? This is a great way to celebrate the end of summer and the start of fall with your residents. Who doesn’t enjoy ice cream or chocolate? We are sure your residents are looking forward to celebrating this holiday!

Were you aware that September 29th is National Women’s Health and Fitness Day and World Heart Day?  Promote health and fitness activities in your facility.  Be Creative!

• Have a dance off
• Play “Health Trivia” or “Health Jeopardy”
• Hold a Chair Yoga Class or morning stretches
• Have a cooking demonstration (see links below)
