2026 NYSHFA | NYSCAL Regional Scholarship – Now Accepting Applications!

Are you growing your career in healthcare or have team members who are? NYSHFA | NYSCAL and the Foundation for Quality Care (FQC) are proud to invest in the dedicated professionals working every day in long-term care. Each Region awards a $750 scholarship to support employees pursuing nursing education and healthcare career development opportunities while strengthening quality care across skilled nursing and assisted living communities in New York.

How to Apply: Submit your completed application to your facility Administrator, who will forward it to your area’s NYSHFA | NYSCAL Region President. Download the scholarship brochure and application form here.

Don’t wait – each Region sets its own application timeline, and all award recipients must be reported to NYSHFA | NYSCAL by September 30, 2026.
