DOH Advisory: Do Not Use Certain Brands of Saline and Sterile Water Medical Products by Nurse Assist

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently issued a Safety Communication warning consumers, health care providers, and health care facilities not to use recalled saline (0.9% sodium chloride) and sterile water medical products manufactured by Nurse Assist, LLC. The potentially contaminated products are sold under various brands and include a wide range of product types with expiration dates that extend to 2025 and beyond. See full advisory attached.
