Pre-Webinar Survey for Upcoming LTCF/SNF OASAS Webinar Series

The NYS Department of Health (DOH), Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), Legal Action Center (LAC) and other partners are planning a webinar series for Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and Long-Term Care Facilities (LTCFs) on best practices for caring for persons with substance use and/or substance use disorder in SNFs/LTCFs. This series will include the federal and state laws/regulations/protections regarding persons with substance use/substance use disorder. The goal of this effort will be to improve both confidence and competence when providing care for people with substance use/substance use disorders admitted to your facilities.

We’d like to get input from SNFs/LTCFs on the content for this webinar series.
