NYSDOH DAL NHQI-2021

The NYSDOH releases the methodology for the upcoming 2021 Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI). The 2021 NHQI is based on the 2020 Minimum Data Set. The Dear Administrator letter and the methodology for the 2021 NHQI are attached. These documents will be sent to the nursing homes through the Health Commerce System (HCS). The 2021 NHQI methodology contains a few important changes from the previous NHQI methodology which are described in this document.
