DOH: All Stakeholders Meeting – Medicaid Pharmacy Benefit Transition 6/21/2023

The New York State Department of Health (DOH) is hosting an informational webinar about the transition of the pharmacy benefit from Medicaid Managed Care to NYRx, the Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) pharmacy program, which occurred on April 1, 2023. Presentations from past meetings are available on the transition website.

The next All Stakeholders Meeting – Medicaid Pharmacy Benefit Transition webinar will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Please complete the registration form. Registration is required to attend this webinar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the webinar.

There will be time at the end for questions and answers about the presentation. After the webinar, the list of Frequently Asked Questions will be updated based on stakeholders’ questions.

As a reminder, the following call centers are available to assist members and providers:

Members:

  • NYRx Medicaid Helpline 1-855-648-1909(TTY 1-800-662-1220) – Members and their caretakers can contact the helpline if they have questions about their Medicaid pharmacy benefits. Language assistance is available. Search tools to look up NYRx pharmacies and covered drugs are available at emedny.org.

Providers:

  • eMedNY 1-800-343-9000– Providers can contact eMedNY for assistance with Medicaid enrollment, billing, and ePACES. Resources are also available at org/nyrx.
  • Magellan 1-877-309-9493– Providers can contact Magellan to obtain prior authorizations. Fax forms are available at fhsc.com.
  • Education & Outreach (E&O) 1-833-967-7310– Providers can contact the E&O team for questions about care coordination and NYRx. Information about office hours and provider trainings are available at fhsc.com/providers/education-outreach.asp.
