Project Firstline NY Infection Control Audits
Project Firstline NY (PFLNY), is providing 3 hours of FREE on-site training to facilities that sign up, on the core principles of infection prevention control and audit monitoring.
PFLNY has partnered with infection control experts, Coretactics, to create and implement a free 3-hour Infection Control Audit/Quality Improvement Program. The infection control experts will come on-site to your facility and work with 4-5 frontline facility staff that your facility chooses.
Your frontline team members will:
- Dedicate 3 hours to work with the infection control expert to learn about the importance of infection control for the residents and for themselves.
- Learn how to conduct an infection control audit using a standard audit tool.
- Receive guidance on how to interpret audit results using tracking and trending techniques.
- Learn to apply the QA/QAPI process with the findings from the audits conducted.
- Work together to choose the highest priority finding to monitor for the next 3 months.
- Expand their knowledge of proper infection control in facilities and share what they learn with other frontline staff.
