DAL for 2% Supplemental Payment

Please find the attached DAL for the 2% supplemental payment. This supplemental payment represents the reinvestment of the 0.8% unreimbursed portion of the cash receipts assessment that is paid by skilled nursing facilities back into nursing home care. The lump sum should total approximately 2% of a facility’s annual Medicaid revenue. The DOH uses the most current Medicaid days data available in the calculation and then reconciles to actual Medicaid days in the following year. The statewide distribution of the 2% supplemental payment is $140M.
