General Membership Meeting, May 8, 2024 – Vote for Elected Officers

The Nominating Committee of NYSHFA met on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and unanimously nominated the following individuals for the 2024 – 2025 term for the offices indicated.

The vote for officers of the Board of Directors for NYSHFA | NYSCAL will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 1:45 PM at the Turning Stone Resort, Verona NY. Please plan to attend and exercise your privilege to vote. From the By-Laws see Article X – Voting Membership – Meeting which sets forth the requirements for those eligible to vote.

ARTICLE X – VOTING MEMBERSHIP – MEETING

Section 1. Every Facility Member and Provider Member of this Association in good standing shall be entitled to vote on all proper questions at any meeting, except that voting at the annual meeting shall be limited to those Facility Members and Provider Members whose dues have been paid through the first quarter of the calendar year in which the meeting occurs. Section 2. Each Facility Member shall have the right and privilege of one (1) vote to be cast by one (1) person designated as the delegate representing that facility. Each Provider Member shall have the right and privilege of one-half (1/2) vote to be cast by one (1) person designated as the delegate representing that Provider. Each Facility Member and Provider Member must have a separate delegate representing that facility or provider, so that no delegate may represent more than one (1) facility or provider. Such person must be actively engaged in the administration or ownership of that Facility Member or Provider Member as the case may be. (5/6/98).
