Join NYSHFA on Tuesday, November 9th for our online Career Development Program – Pressure Ulcer Program: Prevent Nosocomial Pressure Ulcers in SNF.

This program is designed to assist RNs, LPNs and nurse educators to provide a turn-key hour in-service for firstline staff to learn about the basic components of skin care and pressure ulcer prevention. The staff will also be able to identify specific issues to observe for and how best to communicate changes they identify related to residents’ pressure areas and skin changes to their nurse. This program can be utilized in both orientation and annual updates.

This program will provide Administrators with an understanding of the Nurse Educators duties for in-service trainings and guidance for their Nursing departments.
