CMS Posts New BIMS MDS Assessment Coding Guidance Video

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has posted a new brief interview for mental status (BIMS) video to help providers completing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessment BIMS items C0200-C0500 to determine:

• When to stop the interview
• How to code the remaining items
