Project Firstline…Its What’s New In Infection Control!

In last week’s NYSCAL News, we introduced Project Firstline (PFL) NY, an infection control training for both assisted living and skilled nursing facility workers in all disciplines across New York State through training modules.  Most recently, you should have received an e-mail with a letter attached from Jackie Pappalardi, Executive Director for the Foundation for Quality Care that contained both posters to hang in a visible area with a QR code linked directly to the survey, along with survey monkey links in both English and Spanish for you to share with your staff that will allow them to complete and submit a PFL Learning Needs Assessment.  For convenience, I have including the link and the QR code below in the article. Completion of this Needs Assessment will allow us to identify the best way to present the infection control modules to your staff that will fit best into their busy schedules.

Please encourage your staff to fill out the PFL Learning Needs Assessment and submit it by November 13, 2021.  Should you have any questions, you can reach out to Melony Spoke, PFL Project Manager at mspock@nyshfa.org or by calling (518) 462-4800, extension 21.
