DOH Staffing Changes

Earlier this week, Adam Herbst, Deputy Commissioner at the Department of Health’s Office of Aging and Long-Term Care, announced that he is leaving his position after four years. His replacement has yet to be identified.

The Department of Health has recently hired the following:

• Dr. Elizabeth Whalen – Medical Director of the Office of Public Health
• Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert – Medical Director of the Center for Environmental Health
• Richard Hess – Center for Hospice and Palliative Care
• Marina Maxwell – Center for Hospice and Palliative Care
