Q: Is there a minimum length of stay in an Adult Care Facility respite?

A: The Department of Health Adult Care Facility program has not instituted a minimum respite stay requirement.

Q: For a new employee, can a facility use a physical older than 30 days?  The regs are not specific on this and just say they have to show the employer one was done previous to employment.

A: The physicals must be done within 30 days of hire.
