Special NYSCAL Coffee Chat to discuss DAL 23-15

NYSCAL will be hosting a Special Coffee Chat on Tuesday, May 2nd.  On this Coffee Chat, Kurt Bratten, Esq. of O’Connell and Aronowitz, will talk about DAL 23-15, “Changes to Admission and Retention Regulations” which was released on April 25, 2023.

DAL 23-15 clarifies that individuals with mobility impairments have the right to access ACF programs, and that accommodations can and should be made where reasonable. These regulations are effective immediately and will have a direct impact on your facility operations.

 We will thoroughly review DAL 23-15 and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with your peers from across the State on potential impacts. This will be an open forum so please come prepared with questions for Kurt and NYSCAL staff.
