State Budget Negotiations Winding Down

After the Legislature voted on yet another budget extender on Monday, it appears that negotiations between the Governor and legislative leaders could be winding down with a finalized budget in place by the end of the week. However, talks are still ongoing and we must continue to keep the pressure on, particularly as it relates to a Medicaid rate increase which impacts many NYSCAL members.

NYSCAL urges you to contact your State Senators and Assemblymembers ASAP to demand an increase while negotiating tables are still open. Call the legislative operators TODAY to connect directly with offices:
