SSI Support Letter

Last week NYSHFA|NYSCAL sent a letter to Senator Roxanne Persaud, Chair of the Senate Social Services Committee requesting that the Senate support an SSI/SSP rate increase of 10% for assisted living providers in its FY2024-25 Legislative Budget. This letter was sent in addition to advocating for an increase during the legislative discussions had on Lobby Day on February 6th. This will be an ongoing discussion with the Legislature, and we will keep you apprised of our conversations to move this forward.
