Bi-Weekly Association Meetings with the Department of Health

The New York State Department of Health will be hosting bi-weekly association meetings beginning June 15, 2023.  These Bi-weekly communications will be for all Trade Associations within the Long Term Care Continuum (NH, Adult Care, Home Care and Hospice) to meet with DOH, Office of Long Term Care leadership from Division Directors to Adam Herbst.   This will be an opportunity for NYSHFA |NYSCAL to bring forward any concerns that providers may have.   Please send anything you would like addressed to me at the contact information below.

In addition, the Department of Health has asked for the association’s suggestions to tour around New York State this summer. Adam Herbst and the Commissioner may join DOH on some of their visits! They are looking to tour a diverse selection from rural to city, small to large, various ownership types, struggling and thriving, and a wide variety of  licensure and certifications. Please let me know if you are interested in having DOH tour your facility.
