Association Resource Group and the Master Plan for Aging

The New York State Department of Health (DOH) and the State Office for the Aging (SOFA) held its first meeting of the Association Resource Group (ARG) to explain the structure of the overall master plan, timeframes, subcommittees and workgroups that will be instrumental in developing a meaningful and comprehensive Master Plan for Aging (MPA).  The ARG will allow state associations to bring statewide and regional issues to the MPA process that assists in developing a positive and effective Master Plan.

New York State is requesting feedback from providers as part of the development of the Master Plan for Aging (MPA).  Please complete the  survey at the link below no later than March 30, 2023 and feel free to share it with your staff and partners who support the work you do so they can provide input as well.

Your answers will not only frame the discussion for upcoming public input sessions, but will form recommended strategies, policies and new or improved programs in the development of the MPA.
