Want To Let Your Staff Have Fun While Teaching Them About Infection Control?

If so, sign up for the Project Firstline Escape Room.

The concept of an Escape Room is a themed challenge event where players work as a team to find clues, complete tasks, and solve a variety of puzzles under the pressure of time.

The Project Firstline Escape Room will be a fun staff training approach to boost both team and individual skills in building communications, problem-solving, and improving knowledge of infection control practices.  The main objective is to achieve a specific, time-bound goal to unlock clues at specific stations in a set scenario.

How it works?  NYSHFA|NYSCAL staff will come to your facility and set up the escape room. The facility will be responsible for setting up teams of four to five staff at 15 minute intervals to navigate the various clues to break out of the escape room, all while learning about infection control.

The feedback we have received from facilities that have already participated in the Project Firstline escape room has been very positive.  Below is one of the many comments we have received.

“Thank you so much for coming today and having our staff go through the escape room – everyone has been saying how much fun it was! We look forward to any other activities that we can participate in, now that your grant has been extended.”
