Election of Officers – Letter of Intent Required

The election of officers to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for NYSHFA will take place at the general membership meeting being held at the Annual Conference on May 10, 2023 at the Turning Stone Resort, Verona, NY.

In accord with the By-laws:

ARTICLE III ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Section 1. The officers of the Association shall be elected at each annual conference by a majority vote of the delegates representing facility and provider members present and voting. No officer shall be involved with any other officer in the ownership of any Facility or Provider Member or Organization in any manner set forth in Article I, Section 1(i) of these bylaws. Any persons wishing to be considered by the Nominating Committee for any office shall submit their names, in writing, to the Chair of said Committee, identifying the office for which they wish to be considered, not less than 15 days prior to the first day of the annual conference. ARTICLE IV – QUALIFICATION OF OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS

Section 1. All elected officers or directors shall be actively involved in the administration or ownership of Facility Members or Provider Members in good standing (dues paid to within 90 days) at the time of election and during their tenures of office. (5/6/98)

If you wish to run for an elected office (Chairperson, Vice-Chair, or Secretary-Treasurer), your letter of intent must be dated by Wednesday, April 19, 2023, to be considered by the Nominating Committee.  The letter must specify which office you will be seeking and be mailed to:
