Informational Message: Influenza Surveillance Report for the Week Ending 04/06/2024

This Informational Message is being sent to you by the NYSDOH Bureau of Communicable Disease Control (BCDC), which produces a weekly statewide influenza surveillance report from October through May. Attached is the influenza surveillance report for the week ending April 06, 2024.

This surveillance report is also available on the NYSDOH’s public website at: http://www.health.ny.gov/diseases/communicable/influenza/surveillance/ as well as on the NYSDOH’s password-protected Health Commerce System (HCS). To access the report on the HCS, log onto the HCS using your HCS password, select “Content” from the menu bar, then “Documents by Group”>”NYSDOH”>Diseases and Conditions”>”Influenza”> “Surveillance”>”Weekly Reports 2023-24.”

County-level data, multi-season comparison graphs, and age-related breakdown of cases and hospitalizations are available on the NYS Flu Tracker at https://nyshc.health.ny.gov/web/nyapd/new-york-state-flu-tracker.

TO UNSUBSCRIBE: This informational message has been distributed through the Integrated Health Alerting Network System (IHANS) in the Health Commerce System (HCS). If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you have two options available:

Option 1: Update your business contact info to an email address monitored by someone within your organization, as some of the content may be important and relevant to public health. To update contact info please log on to the HCS https://commerce.health.state.ny.us Click My Content > Change my contact info > View and update both the Business and Emergency Contact Info tabs and click Submit.
