NYSHFA’s Annual Lobby Day: Widespread Support for Long-Term Care

NYSHFA held its Annual Lobby Day earlier this week, successfully meeting with over 30 legislators and top policymakers over two days to discuss significant issues affecting nursing homes in the Governor’s SFY2024-25 Proposed Budget such as Medicaid rates and the historic workforce crisis. Conversations were overwhelmingly supportive and will continue, but we also need your help.

If you came to Lobby Day, we ask that you build upon the relationships made and invite your legislators into your facilities. It’s an election year and it’s important for them to understand your facilities and the quality care you provide to residents.
