Reporting to the New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS) per Executive Order 202.88

Executive Order (EO) 202.88 requires both influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations be reported to the NYSIIS within twelve hours of administration of the vaccine. The EO overrides the previous requirement that adults older than 19 years old must sign a consent for their vaccine information to be placed in the NYSIIS.

Currently, the Pharmacy Partnership for LTC pharmacies are responsible to submit the COVID-19 vaccination data in NYSIIS.

Nursing homes and Assisted Living facilities ordering influenza vaccine inventory and administering the flu vaccine as of December 13, 2020 are responsible to enter this data into NYSIIS. Facilities are not responsible for retroactive administration of flu vaccine.

Access to NYSIIS

ü  Video will describe how to log in and navigate the NYSIIS

ü  Click on the NYSIIS Standard User Training
