AHCA/NCAL: Building Trust in LTC

Through a grant from the CDC, AHCA/NCAL has developed a new free training titled is equipping leaders with trust building skills and practices through Building Trust: A Strategy to Improve Patient Safety, Staff Wellbeing & Vaccine Uptake in Long Term Care.

This program equips long term care leaders with tools, strategies, and resources to build and rebuild trust with their staff members to increase vaccine uptake and other outcomes such as infection prevention and control measures and staff retention. Based on the science of trust building, this four-lesson virtual program utilizes teaching methods for adult learners.

A second optional free advanced course titled Advancing Trust in Your Building also is available upon completion of the Building Trust program. This train-the-trainer immersion program includes access to course curriculum and additional content, such as facilitated discussion and role-playing guides.
