It is my pleasure to introduce Ms. Christina Audi, MHA, LNHA, as the newly appointed Executive Director of NYSCAL. As we usher in a new era of leadership for NYSCAL, I would like to briefly familiarize you with some of Christina’s expertise and accomplishments in the healthcare sector.
Christina’s healthcare journey began with her academic pursuits, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies with a Concentration in Pre-Med from Monmouth University. She further specialized with a Master of Health Care Administration from Utica College.
For nearly a decade, Christina has contributed to various healthcare institutions. In her most recent role, Christina served as the Executive Director of an assisted living community in the Capital Region. Prior to that service, Christina served as a Nursing Home Administrator at buildings in both the Capital Region and Central New York.
Christina spent the earlier part of her career working for the Executive Vice President of Greater New York Hospital Association, where she was involved in trade association operations and advocacy.
In addition to her professional roles, Christina has been actively involved in the long-term healthcare community through membership in various organizations, including NYSHFA|NYSCAL and AHCA/NCAL. Christina is committed to enhancing the quality of care for New York’s elderly demographic and believes that this mission is fulfilled through education, supporting the needs of assisted living communities, and championing causes through advocacy on behalf of assisted living providers and the residents they serve.
