LTC Ombudsman Program

In today’s State Register (p. 8), it is noted that amendments to the LTC ombudsman program have been adopted. This is in response to proposed rulemaking posted in the 11/15/23 issue of the State Register (p.8).

These changes clarify the ombudsman’s “access” to residential healthcare facilities such as in the case of investigation of a complaint by a resident or resident’s representative.
