Connected Community Launch!
On Wednesday, March 27 we will be launching the NYSCAL Members Connected Community!! Our online community is a private, password-protected workspace just for our group. We hope it will help facilitate communication among members. We can use this platform to communicate, collaborate and securely share information and electronic files with one another. Our Connected Community will include a discussion board, a library, and a community member directory, and it’s very easy to use!
On Wednesday March 27, you will receive two separate emails letting you know our community is ready for us. The first email will be the very first discussion post shared in our community, posted by our system administrator, Christine Wilson, of AHCA/NCAL. This message will contain detailed information about how to access and use the site. The second email will be your system-generated individual username and password. If you have ever logged in to the https://www.ahcancal.org/ website, these will be the same credentials and you will recognize the sign-in page. You may even already be part of another Connected Community on this system. You will receive this second message with your credentials even if you already have them, so please do not be alarmed. It’s just a system generated email meant to help you get started. You can change your password at any time by following the instructions on the sign-in page.
The welcome message will be long, but please read it, as it will contain some important information that you’ll need to know to navigate the community successfully. If you do not receive both of these emails by the end of the day on Wednesday, March 27, please email Christine Wilson at cwilson@ahca.org and let her know.

Additionally, you are invited to an optional Webex meeting on Thursday, March 28, from 2pm-3pm (mark your calendars!!). Christine Wilson will give us a tour of the site and be able to answer any questions you may have.
