DOH Advisory: CDC Advisory on Counterfeit or Mishandled Botulinum Toxin Injections

Please see the attached advisory from CDC regarding health impacts from counterfeit or mishandled botulinum toxin injections. From November 2023 to the present, there have been 22 such cases in 11 states, including in NY. Suspected or confirmed botulism is reportable in NY. Thank you for your attention.
