CDC and CMS Present Stories from the Field: Immunization Strategies for Long-Term Care

Date:  Wednesday, January 31, 2024  |  Time: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET  |  Registration Required: Register here

AUDIENCE:

This webinar is open to QIN-QIOs and nursing home leaders, medical directors, directors of nursing and infection preventionists interested in collaborating with their staff, residents and families to maximize COVID-19 vaccination rates at their facilities.

DESCRIPTION:

Despite the vulnerability of nursing home residents to COVID-19 infection, only 37% of nursing home residents were up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations as of December 31, 2023. Join this Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) webinar to hear directly from nursing home teams that have developed successful strategies to overcome COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and fatigue, schedule onsite vaccination clinics and address staff turnover to ensure residents receive timely vaccinations.

This webinar will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET.

We look forward to you joining us and would appreciate your sharing this invitation with the nursing homes in your network.

Please note: There is a cap of 1,000 registrants for this event. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
